This song for me was always a hard one to get to sound correct because of needing seriously accurate intonation (at least from my experience).
I luck out with the Mushoks. Also for as much as he uses harmonics I have them all set up okay enough
@@Rpaterson33 Now what's the difference between the MMM1 and the SE?
The SE feel physically longer even though the scale is shorter. I opened them both up and the wiring looks just about identical, but im sure the pickups are slightly different. I always swapped the SE pick ups out, but I never touched the MMM1 pickups. Both awesome guitars, but the MMM1 feels like a shorter guitar.
@@Rpaterson33 Interesting, I'd assume that has to do with neck shape maybe. How about in terms of stock sound/the original pickups? Is there really much of a difference from the MMM1? I've been heavily considering buying one! I just don't want to go into it thinking it's gonna sound different and be almost the same thing.
The bridge on the MMM1 is lower on the body than the PRS. Therefore the longer scale but feels shorter. I always put Dimarzio Dactivators in the PRS ones and they sounded amazing. Its more of a different feel and nostalgia thing for me, I like the shorter feel of the Ibanez ones.

Sounds great! I could never get the chorus right, the tab book says he's doing octave parts on the high strings for that, and when I do it just doesn't sound right.
He does but I just followed the bassline for the most part.

Hard to explain on text, I just listed to the recording over and over again. It is different, a bit of a swing to it. Every kick is doubled almost.

Video is a bit choppy. Otherwise, a pretty solid cover. Is that first guitar an MMM1? That's what Mushok used for a little while during the Break the Cycle days. He can be seen using one on the music video for this song. It would also be cool to see a cover of Fade.
Yeah its an MMM1. He used them from around 2003 to 2007 before he went to PRS. Before then he had Ibanez customs made that had more of an S type body before his signature came out in 03. Fade is in the works.

I actually have 4 (i went a little insane) of the Ibanez MMM1s. I changed the pickup covers around to distinguish the different tunings I have them in.
